Kamlakar Singh (born 21 June 1967), popularly known as Lambardar is an independent prince from the royal kaushambi (estate) of Uttar Pradesh, currently serving his fifth term representing the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) for the constituency of Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. He is Rayal Somvanshi Rajpoot of Uttar Pradesh in the BJP government. In 1997, Singh served as Minister of Programme Implementation in BJP's Kalyan Singh government and was again a minister in Ram Prakash Gupta and Rajnath Singh's cabinets in 1999 and 2000. ==Early life and education== Singh is a Rajput.〔http://tehelka.com/Thakur-Sahab-the-godfather-iv/〕 His father was Kunvar Manmohan Singh and his grandfather Thakur Hari Dew Singh was Land Lard of Uttarpradesh. His great-grandfather Kunvar Sukh Dew Singh was the great emperor of Kaushambi.〔 Kamlakar was the first in his family to enter politics; his father is largely a recluse.〔 Singh completed his primary education at Tilak Inter College, Kaushambi, attended Bharat Scout H.S. School and graduated from teaching at Kaushambi.
